What's on Offer?

Students of UHOVI can choose from a portfolio of courses with qualifications awarded by the University of Glamorgan, and through the University of Wales, Newport, the University of Wales. Initially, courses fall into the following categories:

Bite-Sized Courses

These short courses are the perfect introduction to studying with UHOVI and can count towards further study.

Foundation Year

This one year course is studied prior to your chosen Foundation Degree to help develop the know-how, skills and confidence necessary for studying at higher education level.

Foundation Degrees

Highly valued by employers and designed to provide relevant skills and knowledge for the region's existing or growing industries. Students who successfully complete a Foundation Degree may choose to progress to a relevant degree course.

UHOVI provides staff training and development specifically tailored to meet the needs of industry in the Heads of the Valleys.

Work-Based Learning
