Support for Employers

Several UHOVI work-based learning programmes plus the FD Business Pathways scheme consisting of the Foundation Degrees in Business Enterprise and Management plus Business Practice provided by UHOVI, have been made possible by the European Social Fund (ESF) West Wales and Valleys Convergence Programme, led by the University of Glamorgan on behalf of the Welsh HE and FE sector.

If you are in private sector employment and live and/or work in West Wales and the Valleys, you may be entitled to a fully or partly-funded place on these courses (conditions apply).

The ESF-funded Foundation Degree and 'Work-Based Learning Programmes' provide opportunities for participants in private sector employment to gain higher-level skills and qualifications. Each HE and FE project partnership works with the Sector Skills Councils and employers to ensure the higher-level skills provided meet the needs of the relevant sectors.

Foundation Degree in Learning Support starts February 2012 at The College Ystrad Mynach.
