Foundation Degrees

Highly valued by employers and designed to provide relevant skills and knowledge for the region's existing or growing industries. Academic study is combined with employment-based learning in key subject areas so you’ll get the chance to learn in the workplace as well as the classroom. Students who successfully complete a Foundation Degree may choose to progress to a relevant degree course. This usually involves an extra year studying full-time (or the part-time equivalent).
