Foundation Degrees usually take two years full-time and many have an option to top-up to a full degree with an additional year of study (or the part-time equivalent). Academic study is combined with employment-based learning so you get the chance to learn in the workplace as well as gaining valuable experience for your CV. All qualifications are awarded by the University of Glamorgan or University of Wales, Newport.
Anyone over school age living or working in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf or Torfaen can study with UHOVI. Applicants from outside these counties may apply for UHOVI courses subject to availability.
