Open Day at Crownford House, Swan Street, Merthyr Tydfil

Open Day : Monday 14th May 2012  10am-4pm
 
UHOVI, Glamorgan Gates, Merthyr Tydfil College Work-based Learning, DEHOV, First Campus, Creative Industries Development Scheme
 
We’re opening the doors of this new education facility in Merthyr Tydfil town centre and inviting everyone to come along and find out about local learning opportunities. With a range of courses at various levels, there’s something for everyone.

Drop in for free refreshments and an informal chat with one of the projects or join in with a taster event:
• Steps 2 Success workshop from First Campus: 10am-4pm
• Try your hand at art with Glamorgan Gates: 10-11.30am
• Find out about work-based learning opportunities with Merthyr Tydfil College
• Take part in a creative and performing arts workshop from UHOVI: 1-1.45pm
• Careers guidance and higher education student finance advice available all day
• Talk to DEHOV about fully funded training for businesses
• Discover how the Creative Industries Development Scheme could benefit your business
• Join in with a talk on coronary heart disease and find out about opportunities to learn more about a healthy heart with UHOVI: 2.30-3.30pm
