It’s not too late to take a different course

You can still apply for a UHOVI Higher Education course starting this September. We currently have places available on a number of Foundation Degrees starting September 2011:

• Digital Broadcasting
• Digital Media
• Digital Photography
• Drama
• Engineering
• Exercise and Health in the Community
• Film and Video
• Graphic Communication
• Information Communication Technology
• Information Technology Security
• Law
• Outdoor and Adventurous Activity
• Popular Music Technology
• Sustainable Construction and Surveying
• Working with Young People

All qualifications are awarded by the University of Glamorgan or University of Wales, Newport. Entry requirements are typically lower than for a full degree but many of our Foundation Degrees have an option to top-up to a full degree with just one extra year of study.

Courses are available at Further Education Colleges or other local venues across the Valleys region. This means you can continue to work or stay close to family, and this could help you to avoid building up a large debt.

Anyone over school age living or working in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf or Torfaen can study with UHOVI. Applicants from outside these counties may apply for UHOVI courses subject to availability.
